Dear Beech Avenue Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! Whether you are returning to Beech Avenue or joining our Bruin family for the very first time, I am thrilled to welcome you to another year of learning, growth, and celebration.

Last year, we encouraged our students to Show Up and Shine, reminding them that each child has unique gifts and talents that make our school community brighter. This year, we are building on that foundation as we invite every Bruin to Show Up. Grow Up. Shine On.

We believe every child is on a journey- not only toward academic success but also toward becoming the very best version of themselves. Throughout this school year, our students will embark on their own Journey to Success, receiving a personalized passport to celebrate their growth. Along the way, they will earn passport stamps for academic achievement, consistent attendance, positive character, and meaningful acts of service that strengthen our school community.

As students navigate this journey, they will also develop the qualities of the Fontana Unified Learner Profile. Our goal is for every Bruin to grow as a Lifelong Learner, Collaborative Communicator, Innovative Thinker, Thriving Individual, and Change Maker. Our enhanced House System will bring these qualities to life through leadership opportunities, acts of kindness, service to others, and friendly competition that helps students discover success is measured not only by what they achieve, but by who they become.

None of this happens without the partnership between home and school. Together, we can nurture children who are curious, resilient, kind, and ready to make a positive difference in the world around them.

As we begin this new adventure together, I encourage every Bruin to come to school each day ready to learn, ready to serve, ready to grow, and ready to make a positive difference.

Thank you for trusting us with your children. It is truly an honor to serve this wonderful community. I cannot wait to watch our students collect stamps in their passports- but even more importantly, I look forward to watching them grow into confident learners, compassionate leaders, and remarkable young people.
